Another soldier lost in the war of life; lost but will never be forgotten. Alistair was more than just a soldier, Alistair was a friend, bredrin, son, brother, hero, lover and fighter. Whatever the role the alistair played in our lives, he will never be forgotten. Alistair will live on through our memories, through us. LIve on Al, live on

GONE BUT WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN / CAROL RAYNOR SAVIN (NEIGHBOUR FROM INGLESIDE )
It was an hounour to have know Allistair. I would often times see him at Mrs. McDaniel's home with Roneil. He was always courteous and mannerly. The Savin's family mourn with you at your loss. We encourage you to lean on the everlasting arms of Jesus and he will sustain you. Be courageous and find your strength in God. Only he understands why. I pray for love, peace and blessing from God as you mourn the lost of your son, brother, cousin and friend.

You'll never be forgotten / Natalie Stephens
Al, You've always been the big brother Kerri and I never had. We're so grateful that we got to share you with Candace even for short time. Kerri and I used to look forward to your visits and we could never drive though Mandeville without insisting that we stop to visit.
Thank you so much for being a part of our lives. We'll never forget you Al, and you'll always be loved and remembered as our brother.
“I must not think it strange if God takes in youth those whom I would have kept on earth until they were older. God is peopling eternity, and I must not restrict Him to old men and women.” Jim Elliot(missionary)
Today we mourn, we weep our hearts are heavy as we grieve for the loss of our dear beloved Al.
But we must remember the past and rejoice in the legacy that Al has left for us. We remember him as a strong and unique character, bold, brave, independent, and strong willed. Yet he was kind, warm hearted, loving, tender and sincere. Quantitatively his life may have been short but qualitatively his life was magnanimous. There are many who knew Al and whose lives were touched by him and as a result enjoyed a richer and greater quality of life.
As you look towards the future I feel convinced that before he passed through the valley of the shadow of death Al made his peace with God and received Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour and at the end of the tunnel saw the light of the Glory of God’s face welcoming him Home.
What must it be like for Al to step on shore, and find it – heaven; To take hold of a hand, and find it – God’s; To breathe a new air, and find it – celestial; To feel invigorated, and find it – immortality; To rise from the care, the loneliness, and turmoil of earth Into one unbroken calm; To wake up and find it – Glory?
Tony, Bev, Candy, Richard & Andrew may God give you His Peace and Comfort at this time.
My Big Brother - Alistair / Kerene Stephens- Spencer
Al – As much as the tears haven’t stopped falling, it is ironic that thinking about our fun times together still breaks the sadness with a smile. I remember when you danced up a storm at my birthday party. I remembered you teasing Candice mercilessly about puberty. I remember when you came to see me at school and I was so proud to walk with u. I remember you showing off to mummy your most recent track medals. I remember that mischevious smile that always made us know you were up to something.
My uncle regret is that we (Nats and I) never expressed to you how much we loved you.
