On an ass he rode one night young man loses his life, they mark the shoulder with a cross and his family gathers round on a peice of hollow ground, hearts are heavy with their loss. As the tears fall from their eyes as one who'll always simplifies. god only cries for the living cause it's the living who are left to carry on, and the angels up in heaven they're not grieving because they're gone "there is a smile on his face because he's in better place than he'd ever know."

It still makes me sad when i think of my granddad, i miss him each and everyday, but i know the time will come when my own grandson will wonder why i went away, but maybe we are not mean't to understand until we meet up in the promise land." god only cries for the living because it's the living who are so far from home."

The moment that we knew Al died, 
Our hearts were split in two,
One side filled with memories,
The other side died with him too. 

We often lay awake at night,
When the world is fast asleep,
And take a walk down memory lane,
With tears upon our cheeks.

Remembering Al is easy, 
We do it every day,
But missing him is a heartache,
That never goes away. 

We hold him tightly within our hearts,
And there he will remain,
Life has gone on without him,
But it never will be the same.

For those who still have their children,
Treat them with tender care,
You will never know the
emptiness,
As when you turn and they are not there.

Tony and family Although I did not know Al, words cannot say the sadness I felt when I received your email about his death. AL was a special person and will remain in the hearts of the family and friends. This just proves that you don’t have to know that someone exists for him or her to think of you as being a special person. Al will always be remembered and loved by all of his family and friends. Al was very special to me he is the light of my life.  I still think of him as if he is just away on vacation.  I can't beleive he is really gone.  Alistair touched the lives of many as he did mine.  I am glad I showed you how much I loved you and how much you meant and still mean to me and I know you felt the same. God broke our hearts to prove he only takes the best.  Al was one of a kind and there is no other like him.  Al and I shared our special moments our laughs together (and what powerful laugh he had) and also our tears together.  He always acted tough but there was always the softness inside for his mom and "oh" how he loved his mom. I will always rememberer one night we were together and he started crying I ask him, what was wrong and he said to me that his mom and no time for him and I couldn't help but to laugh and just gave him a big hug and said "I love you."  Though many will say otherwise I know I gave Alistair the light in his life he waited on for years that was always denied to him. And I know this because he told me.  Alistair, it broke my heart to lose you but you didn't go alone because apart of us went with you the day God took you home. Through tears I ask why he had to go but God knows all things best.  Though I wish time would reverse if not to save you but for me to say my final words and to do the undone.  I express my deepest sympathy to the Tomlinson's.  I would have given my all to save Alistair I prayed to trade places with him but I guess when God calls the door has to be open no matter how hard we try to keep it shut.  Alistair can never be replaced.....

It was a pleasure being on the same track team with Al at M.C. He was by far the fastest one out of the blocks. I met Candice at Hampton where I did 6th form and found in her that jovial spirit which Al also had. As a fellow Swallow, Candy, my heart goes out to you and the rest of your family. Close

Don't tell me that you know how I feel; if you have not walk this road before.  

Don't  ask me how I feel, I have no words to describe my feelings.

If you can read the language of tears,then you would not have to ask how I feel.

If you can see the shedding of my heart each time my child's name is mention, then you would know how I feel.

Don't look into my eyes and say, "everything will be alright". You do not know that.

Please, touch me, hold me, hug me, cry with me, but do not tell me you know how I feel, if you have not walk this road before.

We all love and miss you Al. Watch over your loved ones. We may have lost a wonderful person but God has just gained a beautiful angel.  Watch your brothers and sisters, mother and father.  Be their light at the end of a dark tunnel. You may be gone but surley not forgotten.  Having a chance to get to know someone so comforting and welcoming ever time we spent time together makes the bond and memories much more stronger.  I will not forget Al.  May his heart and soul R.I.P.
